Bib batteries is committed to accelerating the shift to sustainable electric mobility by transforming battery health into a trusted economic infrastructure.

Transportation accounts for 25% of European CO₂ emissions. The transition to electric vehicles is essential — yet adoption remains slowed by high upfront costs, uncertainty around battery condition, and limited trust in the second-hand market.

Today, battery State of Health is opaque, heterogeneous and often contested. Bib’s mission is to transform battery health into a standardized, certified and scalable economic signal — seamlessly embedded into the digital processes of OEMs, lessors, fleets and marketplaces.

By making battery health transparent, auditable and interoperable, Bib removes friction across the EV value chain, accelerates second-hand adoption, and builds trust in electric mobility at scale.

Founded in 2021 by Martin Vaz and Pierre-Amans Lapeyre, Bib raised €2.2M in September 2024 to accelerate its expansion across Europe.
